The police have sent the accused son to jail in connection with the murder of an old man in Pahadigarhi village of Rath Kotwali area in Hamirpur district. Son addicted to gambling and alcohol was pressurizing the father to sell the precious land for debauchery. Brutally murdered on father’s refusal.

The dead body of Premchandra alias Bhan Lodhi (65) of Pahadi Garhi village was found in the house on Saturday night. The family kept trying to hide the matter. Prince (5), the grandson of the deceased, told during interrogation that father Santram had beaten up Baba Premchandra. The post-mortem report confirmed murder by brutal beating.

Shyamrani, the wife of the deceased, filed a murder case against son Santram. Kotwal Bharat Kumar told that the accused Santram was arrested near Pahadigarhi Gate. The stick used in the murder was recovered from the sugarcane field behind the house. The accused told that the father did not give money for the purchase of the car and for the expenses.

He used to quarrel with his father on this matter. On June 17, father was walking on Goshala Road. When he called home asking to sell the land, the father refused to come. The accused Santram dragged his father from the road and brought him home, where he locked him in a room and asked for money.


Father had said – will not give money by selling the land

Father Premchandra used to say that he has married his daughters by doing wages. Didn’t sell land for marriage. Now he will not give money by selling land for gambling and liquor. Enraged by this, the son beat his father to death. After the incident, the story of suicide was created by threatening the whole house.


Revealed in interrogation of five-year-old grandson

Kalyugi’s son brutally killed his own father by beating him with sticks for refusing to sell the land. The relatives talked about suicide by banging their heads on the ground. On the other hand, the five-year-old son of the accused exposed his misdeeds during interrogation. During the post-mortem, the jaw was found broken along with both hands and legs of the deceased.

Along with this, nail marks were also found in the neck. However, considering the case as suspicious, the police took the son of the deceased into custody and said that action will be taken after the post mortem report comes. Premchandra alias Bhan Lodhi (70), a resident of Pahadi Garhi of Kotwali area, lived with his family by building a house in the field.
